Diese Tour zur Ascherhütte ist einfach zu schön, um sie nicht zu fahren. Die 2.256 m hoch gelegene Alpenvereinshütte in der Samnaungruppe ist das Ziel. Die 1.200 Höhenmeter haben es in sich. Steigungen mit bis zu 18% und ein meist schottriger Untergrund fordern einen heraus. Wer es etwas gemütlicher mag, der nimmt die Bergbahn bis zur Medrigalm und kurbelt von dort die Panoramastrecke bis zur Hütte hinauf. Auf der gemütlichen Hütte mit Sonnenterrasse kann man wunderbar entspannen und sich mit regionalen Spezialitäten stärken. Zurück geht es wieder über die Medrigalm und Richtung Schaller mit einem atemberaubendem Wasserfall (dieser ist ca. 50 Meter hinter unserem Hotel) oder über den gemütlichen Fahrweg, welcher auch in der Nähe des Hotels bei der Kirche endet. Für Könner gibt es eine Trailvariante mit etwas mehr Action.
