NOCKBIKE-MTB-Trophy 2024
The NOCKBIKE MTB Trophy will be held for the second time in Feld am See.
Before the start of the 12th ARBÖ Carinthia Cycling Marathon, the NOCKBIKE-MTB-Trophy will be held for the second time on June 1st. The event kicks off at 11:00 AM at the church square in Feld am See with a diverse program including music and bib number distribution. The race starts at 1:00 PM.
This enjoyable yet challenging 20 kilometer race leads on natural trails from Feld am See up to Feldpannalm and further to Maibrunnhütte, where the timing ends. This marks the start of the race highlight - a thrilling descent on Europe's longest Flow Country Trail. The award ceremony will take place starting at 4:00 PM in the finish area at the Kaiserburg valley station in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Special recognition is given to participants who come closest to the calculated average time, ensuring excitement until the very end.
A new racing format attracts cycling enthusiasts
The NOCKBIKE-MTB-Trophy, which debuted in 2023, attracted nearly 100 participants in its first edition. The organizers emphasize team building. Hannes Nindler, co-organizer of the Trophy, notes: "This year, we are offering a special discount for all trios, where the third member participates for free. Both e-bikers and dedicated racers are welcome. There are also valuable prizes and even bike vacations to be won."
