On a mountain bike holiday on the western shore of Lake Garda, the clocks tick a little slower than on an MTB holiday on the northern shore of Lake Garda. The tours and trails are steeper, the scenery and the alpine precipices more impressive. Mountain bikes and boats are the means of transport of choice in this contrasting region. Because here on the quiet side of the lake, you will find some of the most exciting MTB spots on the lake. Such as Monte Caplone (1,976 m) in the hinterland and the Alto Garda Bresciano Nature Park. Until the beginning of the 20th century, the western shore of the lake was secluded, with many places only accessible via steep mountain paths or by boat. So it's no wonder that this biking region in Italy has retained its charm and authenticity.
