Zum Aufwärmen fahren wir bis zum Bahnhof Bled jezero (ca. 5 km), von wo wir den Zug nach Bohinjska Bistrica nehmen, wo die heutige Tour beginnt und auch endet.
Nach den ersten 4 km leichten Radfahrens durch das Bohinj-Tal biegen wir beim Dorf Žlan nach links auf einen technisch anspruchsvollen und steilen Fußweg ab, der uns nach 4 km auf einen Hang über dem Bohinj-Tal führt, wo sich eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Julischen Alpen mit dem Triglav bietet (es gibt auch eine leichtere Variante: aus Bohinjska Bistrica auf der Asphaltstraße zum Dorf Ravne nach Bohinjem und dann weiter auf einer Schotterstraße immer geradeaus). Auf den nächsten 4 km überqueren wir den Hang auf einem Fußweg, anschließend fahren wir abwärts zum Hotel Belvi über den Bohinj-See. Weiter geht es auf dem sogenannten "Jägerweg", der technisch mittelschwer ist und uns zum Ukanc führt, wo wir nach einem leichteren Aufstieg zur Alpenvereinshütte Koča pri Savici gelangen. Hier können wir die Fahrräder abstellen (man sollte sie abschließen) und zum mythischen Savica-Wasserfall gehen (ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß). Darauf folgt die Abfahrt auf einem Fußweg zum Bohinj-See (Gelegenheit zum Baden mit herrlichem Panorama). Am See entlang fahren wir zum Dorf Stara Fužina (gastronomischer Tipp: Gaststätte Mihovc) und von dort steil aufwärts auf den Berg Rudnica, anschließend wieder steil abwärts bis zum Radweg, der uns zum Bahnhof Bohinjska Bistrica führt (technisch weniger Versierte können von Stara Fužina direkt auf dem Radweg weiterfahren), wo unsere Tour endet.
