The lovingly renovated hotel is located in Ortisei at the foot of the Sella Massif – a name that should make your pulse race faster with anticipation. The breathtaking landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is the ideal location for all kinds of bike tours. Daniel Stuflesser, the junior manager, is available to provide advice and support – whether it’s tips for planning your tour, MTB technique courses or a joint Sellaronda tour (his favourite tour among all the tour highlights in the region). At the Digon, you’ll experience the heartfelt Ladin sense of hospitality throughout the team and around every corner. You’ll also breathe in the mountain air – the traditional wood carving village is located at 1,236 m above sea level. So Irma’s home-made “Kaiserschmarren” pancakes – a delicious regional speciality – taste twice as good after a bike tour here.
The rooms here have been lovingly and authentically designed in the typical South Tyrolean style. The hand-made furniture and walls are made from wood taken from local forests – and these forests are often also the source of the foods that end up on your plate. Irma‘s kitchen team serves only regional and seasonal products – most of which come from her own farm. The down-to-earth and yet light South Tyrolean cuisine is supplemented with Italian delicacies.

Bike-Competence The best place for mountain bikers
I have been a biker for quite a while now and started biking at an early age.
I still remember my first hardtail with which I explored my first trail. And I remember very well; I used my bike to participate in my first races here in the valley and was out and about in nature often.
Later on, I even participated in the Sella Ronda Hero event – just to stay fit :)
I continued to attend advanced training courses and also passed the bike guide exam successfully. I have been a member of the South Tyrolean Association of Bike Guides since 2015. Attending advanced trainings courses to keep up to date is mandatory for members of the association. As you can see, my passion for bike sport is huge and it is exactly this passion I would like to convey to our guests by being their guide and by providing help and advice.
