The heart of the Biohotel Rupertus is the hotel’s own bike shop and its soul are the two certified bike guides, Emil & Patrick. These cool bikers have made the Leogang mountain world their home. For many years they’ve been taking guests through the region on mountain bikes or E-MTBs – and it’s pretty cool to rely on people who know the region so well. They also provide tips on improving your technique – so that you can have even more fun.
As well as the ongoing weekly bike programme with its training sessions for children, the Biohotel Rupertus also runs its own kids’ bike camps throughout the year. Whether young or old - all bikers are in the best hands with Emil & Patrick.

Dem Hundstein auf der Spur beim Rennen "Hundstoa Biag Di" auf über 2000 m Seehöhe. Auch als sportliche MTB-Tour ohne Zeitdruck machbar, empfiehlt sich diese Tour vor allem den ganz sportlichen und ausdauernden Bikern.
Das Mountainbike-Rennen „Hundstoa Biag Di“ beginnt im Ortszentrum von Maria Alm am Steinernen Meer und führt zuerst zwei Kilometer zur Talstation der Aberg-Bergbahnen. Dann weiter auf den verbleibenden 14 km und 1 300 Höhenmetern über Aberg und Lohningalm bis zum Statzerhaus am Gipfel des 2 117 m hohen Hundstein. 2001 wurde das Rennen erstmals durchgeführt und steht seither jährlich im September auf dem Programm. Waren bei der ersten Auflage noch etwas über 50 Teilnehmer am Start, so konnte man 2015 bereits mehr als 200 Starter zählen. Der Streckenrekord bei den Damen liegt bei 1:13:08 und bei den Herren bei 53:50. Auch als sportliche MTB-Tour ohne Zeitdruck empfiehlt sich diese Tour sehr.
