The small boutique biking hotel is located in the tranquil village of Feld am See, in the heart of the Nock Mountains biking paradise in Carinthia. The newly designed feel-good lounges have names such as “Fish & Chips” and attract guests with colourful wallpapers and farm crisps as welcome goodies. It’s a place where biking nostalgia meets biking technology: the lobby area is a gallery of vintage bikes covering three floors, and the IBIke box is equipped with the latest e-bike models.
Tours with your host Hannes end with a dip in the lake and a cool drink in the biker lounge, in the hotel’s own lakeside beach or in the small but lovely wellness area. The focus of the toque-winning Slow Food kitchen is on sustainable, regional pleasure. The food can be enjoyed as part of the á la carte menu and in the restaurants. The icing on the cake is the general store – the RADLEREI – that is full of regional specialities and out-of-the-ordinary cycling attire. “Cyclists are everywhere – this here is for bikers“, this is what Hannes Nindler tells his guests at the Bike Boutique Hotel Lindenhof. Because his native home, the Nocky Mountains in Carinthia, is an insider tip in the mountain bike scene. Green mountains with tours directly to the summit crosses, impressive views, demanding and technically challenging nature trails and crystal-clear swimming lakes in the valley – all this offers the region!
Hannes is a qualified guide and he takes his Lindenhof guests to the most beautiful places, and he knows the cosiest huts. The food there will remind you of your childhood. Enjoy chives sandwiches, sour dumplings or Kaiserschmarren from the pan before selected crisp trails take you back to the blue lakes. Hannes is very passionate about culinary delights and Slow Food. He loves going on trail tours in July and August because he can pick chanterelles and yellow boletuses when on tour with his guests. Upon returning to the hotel, the wild mushrooms are fried in the pan and eaten.
In 2006, he discovered the Alpine-Adriatic Tour through 3 countries. Together with two guide colleagues, he arranges a five-day tour on the tracks of World War I from Feld am See to the cliff coast of the Adriatic Sea several times a year. He is very proud of the combination of history, biking fun and culinary delights, and he constantly advances this product further. He currently offers the third version, and an E-bike version will be available in 2018.
Hannes has been a passionate biker for over 20 years now, and variety is of great importance to him. This is why he also uses a road bike, a retro bike or an E-fatbike.

Mountainbike Tour rund um den Priedröf
Vom Landhotel Lindenhof aus radeln wir die Dorfstraße in Richtung Radenthein, gleich nach dem Hotel Burgstaller (kleine Brücke) geht es rechts und bei der Weggabelung links in Richtung Obertweng / Bad Kleinkirchheim. Dann folgen wir der Asphaltstraße (vorbei an der Weggabelung Obertweng) bis an den höchsten Punkt, durchqueren einen Stadelüberbau und halten uns dann nach der Beschilderung der Nockbikerouten. Bevor es wieder abwärts geht, zweigen wir auf die Schotterstraße rechts ab und in der ersten Kurve dann links in Richtung Bad Kleinkirchheim. Wir folgen dem schönen Trail bis nach Bad Kleinkirchheim immer am Bach entlang bis zur Tourismusinformation (1.021 hm) im Zentrum. Dann überqueren wir die B88 und fahren in die Thermenstraße, vorbei am Hotel Ronacher. Bald darauf biegen wir links in die schmale Asphaltstraße ab und fahren an der Kirche vorbei. Beim Hotel Stolz folgen wir dem Schotterweg nach oben Richtung St. Oswald und gelangen auf die Hauptstraße, welcher wir ca. 500 m folgen bis wir rechts beim Sonnleitnhof einbiegen. Es geht nun immer den Schotterweg Richtung St. Oswald / Bachweg entlang.
Nach rund 1,2 km geht es rechts auf der Asphaltstraße Richtung Lärchenweg weiter. Dann folgen wir dem Wanderweg nach links aufwärts Richtung Rundwanderweg St. Oswald. Nach 100 m rechts weiter Richtung Kirche bis wir auf die Hauptstraße kommen, dann geht es nochmals nach rechts entlang der Straße bis zur Gabelung, wo wir nach links weiterfahren. Nach 200 m biegen wir wieder in den Brunnachweg ein. Nun folgen wir immer dem Hauptschotterweg hinauf zur Bergstation der Nationalparkbahn Brunnach. Jetzt geht es weiter bis zur St. Oswalder Bockhütte. Dort geht es links den Wanderweg bzw. Single-Trail abwärts und nach einem halben km biegen wir nach rechts Richtung Erlacher Hütte / Radenthein ab. Nach einem weiteren halben km fahren wir nach links auf dem Schotterweg abwärts bis zum Petodnighaus. Dann geradeaus den Wiesen-Wanderweg weiter (links entlang dem Bach). Nun durchfahren wir ein kurzes Stück auf einem Single-Trail bevor wir wieder auf einen Schotterweg stoßen - Achtung: Mehrere Gatter z.T. nach Kurven; Bitte wieder schließen! Jetzt fahren wir immer den Hauptschotterweg Richtung St. Peter/Nr. 177 entlang bis wir wieder auf eine Asphaltstraße kommen. Es geht links weiter und bald darauf nochmals links aufwärts (Achtung: Abzweig nicht verpassen). An der Autowerkstatt vorbei, folgen wir unterhalb der Scheune dem Wanderweg. An dem Haus wieder links aufwärts weiterhin dem Weg folgen. Dann geht es durch den Graben, ca. 100 m einen stark ausgewaschenen Weg aufwärts, welchen wir bis zum Beginn der Asphaltstraße in St. Peter folgen. Durch St. Peter hindurch zur B88, hier nach links Richtung Bad Kleinkirchheim. Bald darauf biegen wir nach rechts Richtung Obertweng ab. Ab Obertweng fahren wir wieder die Strecke nach Feld am See zurück.
