Flow & Nature Signature Trail Tour (incl. cable car)

We start from the Lindenhof directly via the idyllic church square in the direction of Bad Kleinkirchheim. The ascent to the Obertweng district is crisp but easy to pedal on the tarmac road with little traffic. Passing farms and a fountain for cyclists, the route then keeps right on a beautiful forest path up and down to the centre of the World Cup ski resort. Past the Maibrunnbahn cable car, another short, steep climb and a nice trail and then we are already at the valley station of the Kaiserburgbahn cable car. We load the bikes and "gondola" up towards Wöllaner Nock. At the mountain station, the entrance gate to the Flow Trail immediately catches our eye and off we go. We take the first few bends and berms with caution, but soon feel at ease on the 16 km long marble run that guarantees over 1000 metres of fun. The flow trail ends right at the valley station and then we take the mountain railway back up again. Once at the top, after repeating the first section of the flow trail, the two natural trails ROSSALMTRAIL and ALTER ALMWEG beckon. The Rossalmtrail is easy to ride and offers wonderful views of the Alpine landscape. The Alte Almweg, on the other hand, is crisp - challenging with stone steps, roots, damp ground and some key sections. At the end, however, it rewards us with a marvellous view of the Brennsee (Feldsee) and Feld am See. The crowning glory of the tour is a dip in the lake and a cool drink on the jetty at Lindenhof Seebad or on the terrace of the Radlerei under the lime trees.
