Bike hotels with quality checks
Q-MTS was developed by MTS Austria GmbH and forms part of the quality management system certified by TÜV Austria in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2015. The quality assessment of the bike hotels is therefore based on clearly defined, structured and regularly reviewed processes.
Following a two-year development period, Q-MTS was first implemented in the summer of 2010 at the themed hotels of Mountain Bike Holidays. This made it possible to objectively measure the performance of bike hotels.
Measures within the Q-MTS framework
Key quality criteria are assessed from various perspectives:
- Offer criteria check
The quality of customer communication is tested and evaluated under realistic conditions using mystery emails. - Website check
The hotel website is analysed according to defined criteria, with the aim of optimising the quality of information and user-friendliness. - On-site audit
An on-site inspection is carried out to verify whether the defined quality standards are being implemented and to identify specific areas for improvement.
Compliance with performance standards
The performance standards of each individual member company of Mountain Bike Holidays are regularly checked as part of the measures listed above. The specially developed Q-MTS system provides an objective measurement that ensures compliance with the performance standards.
Continuous improvements
Thanks to Q-MTS, the potential for improvement is highlighted and assistance is provided to increase operating performance. Q-MTS facilitates hotel selection through quality standards, creates trust in local hotel performance and protects against advertising messages that are not adhered to.
