San Giovanni al Monte
This tour lets you discover the mountains above the town of Arco. The end point of the tour is San Giovanni al Monte, a charming place and a popular destination for bikers, which is reached after a nice climb. The route alternates between dirt tracks and asphalt.
The gradient is particularly noticeable on the first stretch to Padaro. In San Giovanni, you can make a stop at the Malga to try the typical dishes and recharge your batteries. This is where the dirt road begins, which turns into a descent after a short climb. The descent leads along a well-maintained forest path, with some very fast asphalt passages, always through the forest. Stop briefly at the "Croce di Bondiga" cross and take in the panorama. Once the dirt road is almost over, the route continues on asphalt paths through the medieval villages of Calvola and Canale. The panorama in Tenno offers a view of the "Alto Garda", the lake and the mountains reflected in it.
