Let’s start with one of the highlights: the Ötztal has more than 40 designated mountain bike routes, and this high concentration of tours is unique in the Alps. A valley full of MTB trails is waiting to be discovered. The mountain bike region in Tyrol also impresses with its different routes that offer sporting variety. Yet most bike tours in the Ötztal also demand a certain level of fitness. Tours such as the one on the Wurmkogel take you up to a height of 3,012 metres.
Yet there is another option: the Ötztal Trail covers 80 kilometres , is close to the valley and offers many detours worth seeing in the longest side valley of the Inntal. There are also plenty of places to stop and take a rest. The Leiterbergtrails are also recommended – and offer a great deal of fun! It is also home to the largest pump track in Tyrol, which rounds off the biking fun.
