Tour & Trail
Zuerst fahren wir leicht aufwärts durch das Tal der Tržiška Bistrica, worauf nach knapp 7 km Asphaltstraße im Dorf Jelendol der Aufstieg auf einem Schotterweg folgt, der aber technisch nicht anspruchsvoll ist.
Transfer mit Autos vom Hotel zum Ausgangspunkt Tržič (ca. 25 Minuten).
So wie die Štruklji (Teigrollen) das bekannteste traditionelle slowenische Gericht sind, ist die Berghütte auf der Kofce-Alm für die besten slowenischen Štruklji unter allen slowenischen Alpenvereinshütten bekannt. Dies ist also eine große Motivation für uns, den 15 km langen Aufstieg zu bewältigen. Zuerst fahren wir leicht aufwärts durch das Tal der Tržiška Bistrica, worauf nach knapp 7 km Asphaltstraße im Dorf Jelendol der Aufstieg auf einem Schotterweg folgt, der aber technisch nicht anspruchsvoll ist. Nachdem wir die Pungart-Alm erreicht haben und sich der Ausblick auf die Gipfel der Karawanken eröffnet, erwartet uns der kürzere letzte Abschnitt des Aufstiegs zur Šija-Alm, worauf es leicht bergab zur Kofce-Alm geht. Es folgt eine wohlverdiente Mahlzeit in der Berghütte direkt unter dem Gipfel Veliki vrh mit Blick auf den Triglav. Zum Abstieg zurück nach Tržič bieten sich mehrere Möglichkeiten: technisch anspruchslos auf dem Schotterweg nach Jelendol und weiter nach Tržič, oder auf der technisch anspruchsvolleren Strecke über die Kal-Alm (teils ein Fußweg).
