Christoph Fahrner has been on a bike since he can remember. "Growing up in this beautiful alpine area, it was clear from the start that there was only one bike: the mountain bike," laughs the biking hotel manager. "Biking has definitely been ingrained in me since childhood - the bike was the only true means of transportation for us." This attitude hasn't changed since then. Only the model of choice has evolved. Instead of his uncle's first red Specialized bike, he now prefers to explore the area on an e-mountain bike. "I switched a few years ago because with e-MTBs, you can easily reach the most beautiful places." Christoph is happy to share the well-hidden secret spots with his guests - after all, they share the same passion.
Mountain biking is a great way for me to find balance and discover the beauty of our surroundings.
And this goes far beyond the bike saddle and beyond, as the unique combination of exercise, nature, and culinary delights is a highlight at the hidden luxury mountain home Arpuria.
