Sky Line and Rock Line

Brixen's local mountain, the Plose, is the dominant landmark of the region from afar: the first iconic mountain on the way south. For mountain bikers, the gentle grassy summit with 360° panoramic views and an incredible skyline is sure to get their hearts racing. So it's no wonder that one of the oldest and still most varied single trails in the Brixen Bike Park bears the name Sky Line.

You can almost touch the sky ...

The Sky Line single trail in Brixen is fast. Demanding in terms of fitness, the 2.43-kilometre trail winds its way through quiet forests and down Brixen's local mountain, the Plose. The name Plose is presumably derived from the bare, unforested summit. The rest of Brixen's local mountain is densely covered by forests. Good riding skills and solid biking know-how are a prerequisite here.

  • The Sky Line is the oldest and most challenging trail in the Brixen Bike Park
  • Trail entrance right next to the Plose cable car
  • Ascent by pedals is also possible
Two times 2.42 km flow & adrenalin

The Rock Line, which was created in 2024 from the lower section of the Sky Line, continues to offer an exciting riding experience for experienced mountain bikers.

These trails are unlikely to be ridden just once, as plenty of berms, bends, waves and jumps provide addictive action that will leave you wanting more. The line promises a variety of specials and always offers unique views of the Brixen bike region.

A touch of Vancouver in Brixen

Under the Palmschoßbahn cable car, you can then discover three more single trails - all conjured up from the drawing board on the Plose under the expert and passionate supervision of the professionals from GravityLogic. And the guys who are responsible for the legendary Whistler Bike Park in Vancouver, Canada, among others, know exactly what they are doing ...

But Brixen offers bikers a lot more than just single trails: the town with its historic centre is lively and surprisingly modern. Numerous cafés, bars and small restaurants line the cityscape. This ensures optimum entertainment and culinary South Tyrolean delicacies after biking. Because the sky makes you hungry.

If you are in Brixen in autumn, you can experience Törggelen in the Eisack Valley. What started out as a feast for harvest workers is now a culinary highlight, where wine and chestnuts in particular are savoured.
