My sister’s boyfriend at the time introduced me to mountain biking in 1989. I can still remember it, even though it was a long time ago! Ever since, I’ve been a passionate mountain biker and e-mountain biker. For me, biking is a sport that clears my head. You get to see a great deal. You’re always in nature and in the mountains and you meet lots of new and nice people – it doesn’t get much better than that!
It quickly became clear that we wanted to run a bike hotel at some point. In 1997, we took over the Hotel Innerhofer from our parents and turned it into a bike hotel. To offer our guests the best, I became a qualified guide in 2004 and attend training sessions every year.
Our region is more diverse than any other and there are only a few officially signposted tours & trails – so you’re allowed to bike anywhere that isn’t out of bounds! Our goal is to make mountain bikers happy and we’ve been doing this very successfully so far!

Über die Radwege und die Altstadt Brunecks führt die Tour anfangs auf Asphalt bis nach Reischach hinauf. Sobald man die obersten Hofstellen erreicht hat, führt die Forststraße über die Ochsenalm bis direkt auf den Gipfel. Lang und anstrengend, es belohnt aber das immer weiter werdende Panorama, bevor man den vollständigen Rundumblick am Gipfel genießen kann. Die Abfahrt folgt dem Anstiegsweg oder wahlweise über einen der ausgeschilderten Trails des Bikeparks.
