The Vinschgau in South Tyrol is a mountain bike region with a hard to beat variety of mountain bike tours which take you from the bottom of the valley up into the mountains. You can explore them leisurely or sporty on more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
Between the Ötztal Alps to the north and the glacier giants around König Ortler to the south, you will find tours with many altitude metres and stunning panoramas in the Vinschgau. You reach the access point to the trails by mountain railways or the perfectly organised shuttle services. The mountain bike seasons starts on dry south-facing slopes in March already. Thanks to a favourable climate, the Vinschgau still offers ideal mountain biking conditions in October. An insider tip is the Latscher Sonnenberg and the Nörderberg around Naturns.
