The South Tyrolean town of Brixen offers diverse mountain bike tours into the uplands and uphill to alpine pastures. Whether you prefer challenging-sporty or leisurely tours, the extensive MTB programme including bike park leaves no time for boredom.
Brixen in South Tyrol is one of Tyrol’s oldest towns and was a popular destination in medieval times already. Here you can look forward to a mountain bike holiday with plenty of culture. Gothic buildings, baroque churches & narrow alleys alternate with vineyards and the idyllic holiday villages in the surrounding area. Thanks to the dedicated bike community, the mountain bike infrastructure, like the new Brixen Bike Park, is fantastic. The bike park was personally designed by the Whistler makers of Gravity Logic and promises maximum flow experience.
The more leisurely option are the cycle tracks around Brixen. Thanks to the central location in South Tyrol, the region is the junction of the South Tyrol Cycle Track and the Munich-Venice Cycle Track. Using the BrixenCard, you take the train back to Brixen free of charge!
