Single trails, forest paths, country lanes and routes through the woods cover an area of around 900 kilometres in the Ötztal Valley. Here you experience a fine mix of nature adventures and sporty highlights.
The Ötztal Valley is known as valley full of possibilities and trails waiting to be discovered by you on lugged tyres. The high density of tours is surely unique in the Alps. This mountain bike region convinces with over 40 signposted mountain bike routes. However, most of the bike tours in the Ötztal Valley require a certain level of fitness. After all, you reach an altitude of 3,012 metres on tours like the one to the Wurmkogel. But there are other tours too: The Ötztal Valley Trail is close to the valley, measures 80 kilometres and offers many worthwhile detours in the longest side valley of the Inntal Valley. Use the bus with bike trailer for your journey back. The possibly biggest pump track in Tyrol - “rolling@Bäckelar Wirt“ - complements the biking fun in Sölden.
