The Brixental valley, comprising the three villages of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg in Tirol and Westendorf, is a true paradise for mountain bikers. The region offers everything to make a biker’s heart beat faster: gentle cycle paths for families, challenging tours for athletes and exciting single tracks for trail enthusiasts.
With over 81 MTB tours of varying difficulty levels and 8 first-class single trails, you can experience the full diversity of the Tyrolean mountain landscape. Easy tours and trails with gentle climbs of 300 to 500 metres in altitude offer breathtaking views of the striking Großer Rettenstein, the Wilder Kaiser and the surrounding peaks.

Beginners can warm up in the new MTB Family Area Streiteck and on the Sonnenrast Trails. Ambitious bikers, on the other hand, will find technical challenges and pure riding fun on well-known trails such as the Sun Trail, Fleckalm Trail and the Lisi Osl Trail. Thanks to 5 cable cars, you can reach the best starting points in comfort and enjoy maximum trail fun.

I know all about biking and, as a trained bike guide, I enjoy accompanying my guests on tours myself. As a member of the mountain rescue service and the avalanche commission, I know the region like the back of my hand. I am supported by the Bikeacademy.
