Mountain biking in the Kitzbühel Alps

Bikers find the best trails and downhill tracks in summer where winter sports enthusiasts bustle in winter. Tours for all requirements are available to choose from and all-round views across the stunning mountain world of the Wilden Kaiser, Kitzbühel Horn, Hohe Salve, Großvenediger and Großglockner are included.

Data:

  • 51 tours (over 800 km and more than 32.000 metres in altitude)
  • Downhill and trail fun
  • Bike swing Tyrol (alpine crossing)
  • Austria’s largest eBike region
The perfect biking day in the Kitzbühl Alps

The easy tours provide beginners, enthusiasts and families with a beautiful view to the Hahnenkamm, Kitzbühel Horn and Wilden Kaiser at already 300 to 500 metres in altitude. The dense network of gravel paths and cable car tours is easily manageable. Anyone who feels that the wide forest road is not spectacular enough for the way back should take one of the downhill single trails, daring one or the other jump and putting the new skill learned during the biking technique training into practice. High-performance bikers can be found in the region at the Kitzbühel Horn or the Thurn Pass at the border to the Salzburger Land. After mastering the ascents of up to 1.400 metres in altitude, beautiful panoramic views stretch across the Wilden Kaiser, the Steinerne Meer to the glaciers of the Upper Tauern. The Gaisberg, Fleckalm, Wiegenalm and Lisi Osl trails are absolute premier class when it comes to downhill tracks! Only absolute pros should attempt this. Obstacles like steep steps, roots, rocks or push and carry passages must not cause breaking out in sweat of fear.
