I
personally like rough trails, whether up or downhill; that’s why the Roen is my
favourite tour. Single trails all the way! Here the vertical metres have to be
worked for. One single trail runs from the summit to the valley.
There’s
also the test of courage to the Schwarzen Kopf that, in contrast to previous
years when only 1 person a year made it, was even mastered by 4 bikers last
year.
It seems that the mountain has become smaller, or the bikers are getting better, or was it actually the 400 mm suspension at the front and rear and the 500 mm disc brakes. Joking asider though, if you don’t believe it, then come and take a look for yourself… and try to follow suit!
