Professional bike expertise in the Dolce Vita Hotel Paradies is with the man who runs it, personally!
For more than 11 years now I don’t only know what a “bike” is, but have also dedicated myself to this hobby with body and soul. It is my favourite subject, and every bike guest in the hotel senses that. I completed my bike guide training with the Austrian Association in 2007.
It’s important to me to show a diverse selection, good equipment, and like expertise of the highest quality. If a guest is interested in a bike tour, then he won’t just get the bike programme given to him, but would also be shown countless possibilities around the biking paradise of Vinschgau. We give him our time, and search out an appropriate route for the biker until he says, “yes that’s the tour from me, I can’t wait.” Anyone can choose from 100 tours on the PC and download them onto a GPS unit.

I am lucky to live in one of the most beautiful biking areas, with 315 days of sunshine a year, fabulous scenery and trails, with up to 1200 vertical metres downhill. Biking happens here from March to November. Twice a week I lead a group of bikers myself, and every time it’s a joy.

Latsch – Biking paradise Vinschgau
Here you can go from being a Transalp beginner, or a leisure biker, to a high mountain specialist, enjoying the sun and tasty local snack at the end of the Via Claudia Augusta at the Tarscher Alm.

Every year in autumn bikers and manufacturers from all over the world come to Latsch to participate in the famous Mountain-Bike-Testival. The 1st Mountain bike Cup in Latsch is also TOP. This consists of 4 wonderful stages, done with a GPS, and the unique thing about it is that you can compare yourself online with colleagues and a professional, and trace your route.
Vinschgau, along its whole length, from Reschensee to Merano, has tours for every level of biker. Here in the hotel there are even 14 a week with a guide, and riding technique training. It doesn’t get more professional than this. In addition, we offer 2 racing bike tours each week, including one on Europe’s most beautiful and highest passes (2760 m) to the Stilfserjoch.
