3 Qualified tour guides are exclusively available for Alpenhof guests. Tom, the landlord, has been guiding through the mountains for 20 years. He was one of the first ones in the mountains with his bike in the Pinzgau area. Confused hikers spurred him on or held out their hiking sticks towards him. Later, with more bikers in the mountains, in the winter, Tom encountered people on their way with snow chains to go tobogganing. As a qualified tour guide, he usually takes the medium tours so that he gets back in time to cook up some biker delicacies.
Markus has been in the Alpenhof for 10 years and, as a qualified mountain bike instructor, he usually runs the “heavy” tours, shows you the hottest single trails, leads the riding technique training, and once a week sets up the barbecue and plays the role of Master of the barbecue. He is also handy with a screwdriver in our bike workshop, and has brought many a broken bike back to life.
Anne, also a qualified guide, ensures, with her charm, that any uphill seems very easy. Her art of motivation in the steep passages is just as legendary as her riding technique in the trails.
