Approved Bike Area
“Mountain Bike Holidays” has developed quality standards for the bike regions. Member regions that fulfil the criteria for these special standards are awarded the special seal of approval “approved bike area 2012”.
Criteria for the quality standards for the bike regions:
- At least 20 prepared tours
- Tours of different difficulties
- Detailed mountain biking information on the region’s website
- Free mountain bike information
- Expert advice about mountain biking
- Bike hire, workshop, shop
- Bike transport by public transport or lifts
“Approved bike areas” are checked Q-MTS® according to the standards set by “Mountain Bike Holidays”. Q-MTS® is certified by DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
