I have been with the “Universo” all the time that it has been linked with “Mountain Bike Holidays”. It is great to see how the specialisation on bikers has developed in my business. The demands have grown, on the one hand on the bike expertise in the house, in resort, and in the region, and on the other hand the demands on the services offered.

So, instead of sitting in the saddle so often, I turned myself more to the hotel itself, coordinating my team, and looking after my guests.

Couples love to come here for their biking holiday. Regardless of age, they appreciate the independent atmosphere. It’s interesting to see that singles are also booking more and more often here. That goes for men and women alike. They know that with “Mountain Bike Holidays” they will meet people with the same interests to go on tours with, if that’s what they want!

And, in this respect, you can have quite high demands, especially when it comes to political metres. Always under the motto: “lots of vertical metres, fewer kilometres!”

At the Universo, it’s a six day bike week. Three bike guides are available. My recommendation would be to choose not how attractive they are, but rather according to your level of fitness.

Group A rides up to 400 vertical metres, Group B rides between 400 and 800 vertical metres, and Group C power onwards for between 500 and 1500 vertical metres per day and tour.

It is often the case with couples that individuals opt for different daily programmes. The ladies find that pleasure in biking is important, enjoying looking at the scenery more than just when stopping for a rest. They like to make use of our shuttle service. The guides often plan the tours so that Groups B and C meet together at the same hut for lunch, then taking different routes back to the hotel. This way everyone is happy at the end of the day, despite their different performance levels.

Everyone likes to be spoilt, enjoy healthy living or wellness treatments. Just as is the case with our bike guides, you are in expert hands in our beauty oasis. Facial care, massages, moor baths, Tibetan sound massages, etc. Just try them out! And so, as the ladies are notching up vertical metres on their mountain bikes, the men can begin their experiences in the beauty of oasis! It will do them good.
