Our personality is our strength

We are not altogether new in the “Mountain Bike Holidays” team, and certainly not inexperienced; we are distinctive though in our personal touch in our biking activities. Our mountain bike guide and hotel boss Roland accompanies most of the tours himself and enjoys showing you the most beautiful roots in and around Wagrain. Or, let Cathrin show you the more leisurely stretches, routes, and tracks. Both grew up here and, constantly in the saddle, they know every corner of this area. Everything is possible in the extensive mountain bike network in and around Wagrain, whether it be an extreme tour or a leisurely family tour. (The Ennsradweg bike route goes from Wagrain, and the Salzachtalragweg from St. Johann im Pongau, 8 km away).

For the mountain bike freaks amongst us, our mountain bike park, bike shop and service are just 200 m from the hotel. It’s highly likely that you will meet Lukas there, the junior of the house, who spends every spare minute of his time there.

There’s still more on offer to you in the hotel, where our team do their utmost to make you feel comfortable. The excellent cuisine of our French chef Pierre and his brigade is well known, as is our well-stocked wine cellar, with over 50 top wines.

You can enjoy all this in the wonderful new panorama restaurant, in the “Stüberl” room or on one of our two sun terraces. Bring your muscles back to life in our 350 m² wellness oasis with indoor pool and sunbathing area. Enjoy peaceful nights with the window open, far from traffic and the noise of everyday life, and yet central, and feel 100 % ready for your next day.

The mountains are here for everyone

Time and space – the biggest luxuries on this hectic planet. What could be nicer than really taking time and genuinely relaxing, having fun, and doing almost nothing, apart from a little sport. Or maybe you would prefer a bit more? Whether biking, hiking, Nordic walking, or jogging, there are plenty of possibilities!

Guided tours

At least 6 guided tours per week, 1 x bike park, downhill and technique training, great single trails, expert advice, and personal care.

You’ll find all this and more. One of our favourite tours begins early in the morning and takes us to the Jägersee lake, to the Schwabalm and to the Tappenkarsee lake. (A bike and hike tour combined). There we have a break after sunrise and discuss together over breakfast how the rest of the day will pan out.
